Shisa-Nyama is a colloquial term that means to "barbecue meat". It refers to a social event where friends and family come together around a barbecue to share a meal.

Lunch Bar buyers are a resourceful bunch that hustle in order to overcomes obstacles in their daily life. To speak to this lower-income audience in a way that champions their hustle we created a series of instructional lifehack videos that demonstrate resourcefulness in ways that speak directly to their interests.

The TVC shows a character, "Mo", who develops a series of resourceful solutions to problems in his community. Taking our cue from this, we identified a series of lifehacks that could be created using inexpensive items that you could find lying around the house. These lifehacks all have a social component to them, showing the audience that their hustle could be used to spread joy with those around them.
Oviaas is a colloquialised version of the word "Obvious". Relating to the brand, it refers to the resourceful type of person who enjoys Lunch Bar chocolates - in this instance typified by a music lover who wants to improve the sound quality of their mobile phone.
Laduma is a colloquial term for "Goal" and is often yelled out in ecstacy when your football team scores.
